On display across 550 booths were a range of typical products related to electronics, machinery, digital technology, e-commerce, food, beverages, and the supporting industry.

The highlight of this year’s fair is four large-scale pavilions from China, India, the Republic of Korea, and Russia, that are all important trading partners of Vietnam.

Apart from the OCOP (One Commune One Product) product booth, the Vietnam Exports Zone drew the participation of nearly 50 companies from 23 cities and provinces from across the country.

Furthermore, the "Invest in Vietnam" pavilion at the expo has also provided useful market information and support to businesses as they seek to expand their markets.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien emphasised that amid global uncertainties, the expo is anticipated to help both local and foreign firms introduce their products, seek partners, and expand markets.

He underscored the importance of trade promotion events and the effective implementation of support solutions of foreign trade in accelerating import and export activities.

The expo is to last through to April 6.
