Vietnam Integration is a press agency for external information on policies, laws, and governance, with the mission that: Vietnam’s integration with the international community must first be based on reform and innovation policies, strict and transparent laws, and governance science in line with the development trends of the era.

The printed edition of the magazine is published twice a month, on the 1st and 15th, in both Vietnamese and English, distributed nationwide and through Vietnam’s external information press system to the world.
The electronic magazine vietnamhoinhap.vn provides updated practical and in-depth information, closely reflecting the pulse of the country’s socio-economic development in the process of growth and integration.
The specialized electronic site Law and Management of Vietnam Integration e-magazine (phapluatquanly.vietnamhoinhap.vn) connects research with practice and experience in the implementation of laws and governance, with the aim of promoting deeper and broader national integration.
Both the print and electronic editions of Vietnam Integration Magazine have been effectively accompanying ministries, sectors, localities, and enterprises in spreading the efforts towards the nation’s development on its path of integration.
Vietnam Integration Magazine has been granted the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) and the International Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for all its publications.
Vietnam Integration Magazine is one of the Vietnamese scientific journals that has been fully assigned international standard codes for all of its publications, including the printed magazine, the electronic magazine, and the specialized electronic site.
This achievement reflects the great efforts and dedication of the Editorial Board in the journey of developing and building a Vietnamese scientific press agency associated with reform and integration.
The ISSN is a unique eight-digit number used to identify serial publications in both print and electronic formats, such as periodical journals, monographs, and specialized magazines. It enables the exchange of information between computer systems of different users, providers, publishers, and information networks across national borders.
The international organization responsible for managing the ISSN system is the ISSN International Centre.
Since March 11, 2005, Vietnam has officially been recognized by UNESCO as a member of the international ISSN network. The National Center for Science and Technology Information under the Ministry of Science and Technology has been designated as Vietnam’s National ISSN Center.
The International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is considered the “identity card” of a publication in the global information network. It is a mandatory requirement for any publication to be recognized in the international serials database. Thanks to the ISSN, publications gain the opportunity to expand their visibility, exchange information, and introduce research achievements as well as their authors to the world.
After a period of evaluation, Vietnam Integration Magazine was granted the international ISSN 2525-250X for its printed edition in 2017. Recently, the Editorial Board has requested the National Agency for Science and Technology Information to update the frequency information for the print edition, update records in the international ISSN database in accordance with regulations, and register ISSN codes for its electronic publications, including the Vietnam Integration e-magazine and its specialized section Law and Management.
Scientists, contributors, and readers may verify the assigned ISSN codes on the international ISSN system at: https://portal.issn.org.
In addition, the magazine was granted the International Digital Object Identifier (DOI) in May 2024, starting with issue No. 340/2024. The DOI is considered a permanent link (permalink) for a file on the internet. Each DOI is unique to a single file, so even if the file’s web address changes, DOI users will be automatically redirected to the new address. Research works with DOI codes allow users to search, cite, connect, and evaluate academic studies more efficiently.
Successfully registering for DOI represents a great effort and commitment by the Editorial Board in the journey of developing and building a Vietnamese scientific press agency aligned with reform and international integration. The DOI registration marks a significant step for the magazine to integrate into the global academic community and enhance the standing of Vietnam Integration Magazine.
Practical Experience Reports on local investment attraction, published in print and further disseminated through the electronic edition, have contributed to attracting investments to provinces and cities across Vietnam in recent years.
Vietnam Integration Magazine has also promoted Vietnam’s beauty on the global tourism map through both its printed and online editions.
Vietnam Integration Magazine also contributes to publishing scientific research in the fields of policy, law, and management associated with integration and development, with the advantage of possessing full international standard codes across all its publications.
