Long An province: Green production to enhace brand reputation

Enterprises operating in Long An province are gradually changing their production mindset, moving towards green production, promoting product research and development, focusing on service quality, enhancing brand value and sustainable development.

Building brand, penetrating the market

The works of building brand, enhancing brand value as well as converting production models and processes to green production are increasingly being paid attention to by enterprises, production and business establishments in the province, especially in the context of a very open economy and deep and wide international integration.

In today's increasingly competitive environment, it is not enough to only strive to improve product quality or compete on price. To create a sustainable competitive advantage, in addition to factors such as product quality, price, distribution channels and communication, enterprises must focus on building a brand towards green, flexibility in production, suitable for the high demands of the market for sustainable development. With a brand, the enterprise's products will be remembered and trusted by customers.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade - Chau Thi Le, strong enterprises are enterprises that own strong brands. In other words, in addition to a suitable production structure, enterprises must create their own brand. Building a brand cannot be done in just a few years but over a long period of time.

To have a strong brand, enterprises need to clearly recognize the importance of the brand. Brand building needs to be done systematically, according to the correct process, method, consistency and flexibility. From there, the brand will bring about results, have value and a sustainable position in the market.

Operating in Duc Hoa district since 2008, Dai Dung II High-Tech Mechanical Joint Stock Company has gradually affirmed its brand and found a fairly solid position in the market. The main business of the Company is the production, supply and installation of pre-engineered steel frames and steel structures.

The Company's brand has reached beyond Vietnam to many countries around the world such as the US, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, the Middle East, etc. On average, the Company exports about 16,000 tons each year, and in the first 9 months of 2024 alone, it exported 10,000 tons; creating jobs for about 1,000 workers.

To achieve business results, in addition to approaching and searching for markets, the Company also focuses on transforming production processes, applying advanced, environmentally friendly technologies in the operation process, creating product lines with its own brand, quality and reducing environmental impact.

The Company has gradually built a brand and reputation for its product lines and has been accepted by many markets. In the current and upcoming period, the world situation has a great impact as well as the trend of green, clean products, requiring the Company to adjust its strategy accordingly.

The Company invested in modern, advanced machinery and equipment in production; coordinated with units to recruit skilled technical workers to meet the requirements.

However, the Company recommends that the locality support labor issues or have a mechanism to coordinate training of human resources to meet the requirements because currently recruiting skilled workers is relatively difficult".

Supporting to develop brand

To meet the increasing demand and affirm their position in the market, production facility owners and enterprises not only innovate and improve quality, design, image, service, etc., but also need to have a strategy to build and develop brands for their products. Long An has many products that have won over consumers, including many of the province's major products and brands.

Ms. Chau Thi Le informed: “In the coming time, the Department will continue to maintain the activities and solutions that have been implemented; innovate, combine, promote activities, coordinate to support the organization of building and developing brands for enterprises; promote trade, e-commerce, online connection; maximize the use of Zalo groups for trade between provinces (Zalo Provincial Business Association, Zalo Long An compatriots, etc.) to promote and connect consumption; introduce agricultural products to Postmart, Voso, Lazada, Tiki, Sendo, etc, contributing to raising the level of products and promoting brands.

In addition, local enterprises need to proactively prepare in the process of digital transformation, bringing goods to domestic and foreign e-commerce platforms, otherwise they will miss many opportunities to develop the market. When selling goods on large e-commerce platforms, enterprises need to cultivate and thoroughly study related knowledge, comply with strict requirements and standards; create goods that meet standards, enhance product brand value for sustainable development”./.
