Gidifa Vietnam: With the whole heart to bring Vietnam to the world

First of all, would you like to share the proud "footprints" of Gidifa Vietnam have gone through to deserve to be a "bridge" for businesses in the process of development and integration?

For more than 4 years, in every step of the journey that has passed, Gidifa Vietnam is very proud to be an NGO with an increasing and growing number of members and many products that have been launched in the market of Vietnam and for export. Especially in the past 2 years, despite the impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic, Gidifa has always united to share with businesses that still face many difficulties together to overcome the “whirlwind”. Not only with that, the Association has also always focused on the meaningful voluntary social works, such as organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival for disabled children affected by Agent Orange with gifts and money, visiting and raising elderly people, organizing auctions of many precious products to raise funds to support lonely families or during the recent flood in the Central Region, Gidifa actively coordinated and connected with sponsors to carry out a loving journey of giving 5000 gifts and money and at the same time, donated 10 houses of kindness to people affected by floods in 5 Central provinces...

It can be said that Gidifa’s contributions are immeasurable and surely in every step, the Association also has gone through many difficulties?

To have a strong foothold like today, Gidifa Vietnam has gone through many difficulties. Actually, sometimes, when I feel tired, too pressured, so I want to give up; But I remind myself that being the “leading bird” is to be responsible for your role, to go to the meaningful journey end; there have been still many members who need me and the Association to lead the way to bring quality Vietnamese products to domestic and foreign markets. Also, in the process of operation, the Association have encountered many unfair fierce competition from other clubs when they tried to attract members and then fabricated mysterious stories for the purpose of dividing internal affairs in the Association. In the context of “Enemies inside, enemies outside” like that, with the resilient bravery, steadfast thinking, I am still determined to “overcome myself”, calmly and patiently solve everything. And Gidifa's success today is a proof that I have succeeded, conquering my ego, successfully accompanied and acted as a bridge to help and solve problems when Vietnamese businesses have difficulties.

Particularly in the promotion of trade and investment between domestic enterprises and the Dubai Business Association in the recent period, what positive effects have been achieved?

In March 2022, after the Covid-19 pandemic was temporarily stabilized, the Government of Vietnam “opened the door”, taking advantage of that opportunity, I arranged to go to the Dubai market. My luggage at that time was the two packages of more than 50kg with many products of Gidifa Enterprises. This trip was very special because it carried a lot of trust and commitment, is an important connection to bring Vietnamese products to be introduced to a big group in Dubai. And fortunately, this trip was a great success. After that, Gidifa Vietnam Joint Stock Company officially signed a cooperation contract to supply Vietnamese products to the markets of Dubai, UAE, Middle East, Africa… And I returned to Vietnam to organize a trade promotion meeting for businesses. After 4 months up to now, we have had rice orders for five 20ft containers every month, 1 container of coffee every month exported to the Middle East market.

It is known that you plan to continue the sustainable and long-term cooperation with the Malaysian Business Association to promote businesses of the two countries?

Following the success of the business trip to Dubai, the Association members and I made a business trip to Malaysia. This trip also aimed to bring the products of Vietnamese enterprises to promote trade with Vietnam – Malaysia Business Association in Malaysia. Up to now, we have set up the program to connect businesses with businesses of the two countries and exchange products and goods in November 2022, as well as cooperate with the Malaysian Halal Association to issue certificates for the products of the Vietnamese enterprises to make favorable conditions for exporting goods. Currently, we are so in need of the support of the Embassy as well as the Counselor of Vietnam in Malaysia to have a booth to exhibit the “Made in Vietnam” products  to facilitate the promotion of Vietnamese enterprises’ products to Malaysian traders.

Recently, you have been honored to receive the Mother Of The Earth “Golden Lion” Award from the Royal General. Can you share the joy of this prestigious award?

In August 2022, I received the good news that I was on the list to receive the Mother Of The Earth “Golden Lion” award given by the Royal General. Being happy and proud is how I feel then until now. Because this is an award made once every five years for Global Enterprises held in Thailand. This is a great spiritual encouragement for me to try harder to overcome challenges in commerce, in the marketplace, an important step to energize me to steer Gidifa Vietnam boat across the big sea to be worthy of the above honorable title.

On the occasion of October 13 – “Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day”, do you have something to share with entrepreneurs, as well as young people who are entering the start-up stage?

After the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses seem to have just “revived” again; the restoration of the factory is a problem; the product has no direction and the bank has not disbursed... It can be said that difficulties are piling up. Understanding this, by the way, I want to share with businesses and young people who have just entered the commercial business market that if you want to bring your products to the Vietnamese market or export goods to foreign countries, you should have the careful legal considerations, full certifications; the brand must have quality; especially the “price” is the most important factor to decide the position of the product in the market, because currently products from Thailand, China, India... are dominating the domestic and world markets with competitive prices. Of course, in any difficult situation, Gidifa’s goal is still to support all members to offer products to all domestic and foreign partners. We will also regularly open “Fair Markets” for businesses to promote products to consumers and connect businesses with businesses to create a healthy playground to “go out” and “to join in hands to bring Vietnamese products to the world”.
