Started in 2018, after 3 years of operation, GaraSTEM was now a partner providing scientific education services and products for more than 50 educational institutions in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa...; it was the only Vietnamese company that produced and transferred their products and services to Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Singapore with access to more than 10,000 children. This was not only the success of an educational start-up, but also a new bright spot in the journey to shorten the gap of STEM education method between Vietnam and the world's.

Prioritizing quality and efficiency as the focus of development
From 2017 up to now, the STEM education model has become popular in Vietnam through different forms. Businesses and organizations operating in this field were appearing more and more. However, it seemed that the quality and effectiveness of training were not really as expected. This was an educational model that combined and integrated Science (Science), Engineering (Technology), Technology (Engineering) and Mathematics (Mathematics) with the goal of helping students become familiar with new educational methods, forming various skills related to these four areas at the same time. However, the lack of consistency in lessons, limitations in learning tools, equipments and teaching capacity, especially the need to continuously import STEM Robotics (the most important tool of STEM education) at a high price were the obstacles that slowed down the development of this model in Vietnam.

Applying the "Learning by Doing" method, GaraSTEM's products were the research results of a leading team of experts in education and technology in Vietnam and Japan. Products were built and designed according to subjects, following the textbook program by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and complying with The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and FOSS (Full Option Science System) international standards. With production lines that met ISO 9001:2015 standards, it ensured that all GaraSTEM products met the criteria for safety in use and design quality to bring the best efficiency and experience for users.

Choosing one of the most risk leading industry and business model, however, GaraSTEM quickly asserted its position in the volatile economic arena with numerous competitors both in terms of " perennials" in the field and financial resource. In 2018, this startup won the national championship of an international start-up competition and was in the Top 50 in the world for startups at the competition consisting 5000 startups in Switzerland.
