Ca Mau makes its mark at the national achievements exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day

Within the framework of the national achievements exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2nd), the exhibition booth of Ca Mau Province at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi) has become a highlight, attracting the attention of numerous delegations and a large number of visitors.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, over the three days from August 28 to 30, the Ca Mau exhibition booth welcomed approximately 34,000 visitors who came to explore and experience.

On August 31, Mr. Vo Van Dung, Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, and former Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, together with Ms. Tran Thi Thu Dong, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations and President of the Vietnam Photographers Association, visited the Ca Mau exhibition booth.

Mr. Vo Van Dung, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, toured the exhibition space showcasing the province’s socio-economic development achievements.

At the booth, Mr. Vo Van Dung highly praised the harmonious integration of local culture with modern development orientation, creating an impressive display. He expressed his hope that Ca Mau would continue to promote the distinctive characteristics of the Mui Ca Mau region to spread traditional cultural values, while also fostering sustainable socio-economic development.

Visitors showed interest in selecting typical OCOP (One Commune One Product) products of the province.

At the Ca Mau booth, visitors had the opportunity to learn about and choose typical OCOP products; experience virtual reality (VR) technology; admire images of Mui Ca Mau and the National GPS Marker 0001; and enjoy specialty dishes made from crab and shrimp in the culinary space. Many visitors also took photos and shared them on social media, helping to promote the image of the southernmost land of the country to friends both domestically and internationally.

Visitors enjoyed specialty dishes made from crab and shrimp of Ca Mau Province in the culinary space at the exhibition.

The visiting and experiential activities at the exhibition booth vividly introduced the image of the southernmost land of the country, from cultural identity and characteristic cuisine to typical OCOP products; thereby demonstrating Ca Mau Province’s determination to promote its potential and advantages, expand cooperation, enhance trade promotion, develop tourism, and pursue sustainable development in the new period.
