Many businesses and destinations in Dak Lak Province have prepared free coffee and cultural experience spaces to welcome visitors to Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023 and proactively created more experiences and cultural spaces to welcome visitors.
Accordingly, the responsible officials have notified the focal point to receive information for businesses and coffee shops to know and register; provided the list of local coffee shops participating in the Free Coffee Day to the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade by March 01, 2023; strengthened the propaganda and information on the list of coffee shops participating in the Free Coffee Day in many forms (on media, social networking platforms, propaganda banners,...).
The Department of Industry and Trade has compiled the list and provided it to the Department of Information and Communications for pulication on the list of cafes participating in the Free Coffee Festival in the Province. The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities will base on the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival Project 2023 to proactively promulgate plans and mobilize local coffee shops to participate in the program to invite customers to drink coffee for free on March 10, 2023 (no provided coupons) and to suggest participating cafes hang banners with the information “Free coffee spot”, time of free coffee and the Festival logo;
Up to now, there have been more than 300 local cafes serving free coffee to people and tourists on the occasion of the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023. They are large shops, which have basically qualified for the criteria on food safety and hygiene, having the large space, registered to support the Festival. In addition, many sidewalk cafes also voluntarily offer free coffee during the Festival, at least within March 10.
Moreover, on this occasion, Buon Ma Thuot City will also launch a street to enjoy free coffee on Phan Dinh Giot Street located right in the city center, where there are very beautiful ancient tamarind tree rows.
The free coffee street will serve for five days, from March 10th-14th, 2023. This activity is accompanied by the three major coffee brands in the province. Here, people not only enjoy coffee but also experience cultural and artistic activities related to coffee.
In order to help people and tourists to feel it easier to find cafes and tourist attractions, restaurants, catering establishments, and stay places in the city during the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City has introduced the Apps of coffee and tourism in Buon Ma Thuot City.
According to Standing Vice Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee - Pham Tien Hung, through the coffee and tourism Apps to introduce and promote widely to people and visitors about Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand and unique images of coffee culture, people, potentials, strengths and tourism, it also creates an image of a dynamic, civilized, friendly and hospitable Dak Lak Province in general and Buon Ma Thuot City in particular.
The Apps is providing users with hundreds of featured cafes, accommodation facilities, tourist attractions and a number of diverse and rich food service businesses. The Apps helps users to easily search and choose their favorite cafes, accommodation, tourist attractions and cuisine according to their style and type of service within a radius of: 1-10km from the current location of the user.
