In order to promote, introduce, connect and develop distribution channels of OCOP products in foreign markets, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development organized an event to participate in the OCOP International Fair in Europe (International Handicraft Fair AF-L'ARTIGIANO IN FIERA 2024). On November 30, in Milan, Italy, the Vietnam Pavilion at the International Handicraft Fair AF-L'ARTIGIANO IN FIERA 2024 was opened.
Participating in the opening of the Vietnam National Pavilion were Mr. Gabrielle Alberti - Director of the Fair; Ms. Loredana - President of the Milano Handicraft Association; Mr. Duong Hai Hung - Ambassador of Vietnam to Italy; Mr. Walter Caverenghi - Secretary General of the Italy - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce (CCIV).
This is a program in a series of tasks under the National Target Program on New Rural Development of the Central Office for New Rural Development assigned to the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center to promote the consumption and promotion of handicrafts and OCOP products abroad.
Delegates made the opening ceremony
Through the stories of Vietnamese OCOP products, introduce to visitors of the Fair the typical regional culture of Vietnam. At the same time, support businesses, cooperatives and OCOP entities to promote, connect information, exchange experiences to help gradually perfect products, promote trade cooperation opportunities in the European market.
The Vietnamese pavilion has an area of 90m2, with the participation of 8 units, businesses and nearly 100 OCOP products, handicraft products of Vietnam.
Immediately after the VIP delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition, the Vietnam Pavilion opened its doors to welcome many international visitors to visit, trade and experience.
The Vietnam Pavilion at the AF-L’ARTIGIANO IN FIERA International Handicraft Fair 2024 will be arranged with spaces to carry out the following contents: Organizing an exhibition space, honoring Vietnamese OCOP products, experiencing and tasting OCOP products, Vietnamese cuisine; Organizing a space for businesses, cooperatives, OCOP entities to introduce, promote, connect products to expand the market, and cooperate in trade at the Fair.
The Fair will last from November 30 to December 8, 2024 at the Milan Event Center, Italy.
