Speaking at the ceremony, MoLISA Deputy Minister Le Quan expressed his belief that the Vietnamese contestants will continue to confirm their position at the event, helping to elevate the country’s prestige in the world arena.
Last year, Vietnam claimed third place at the 11th ASC with 10 gold, five silver and four bronze medals, finishing behind Malaysia and Indonesia.
The ASC is the centre piece for showcasing the 'best-of-the-best' young ASEAN skilled talents. The ASC provides the impetus for participating ASEAN countries to develop motivated and high-performing skilled workers. It also serves as an ideal platform for collaboration within the skills community in ASEAN as the region strives to enhance the delivery of technical and vocational education and training./.
