VNHNO - The Foreign Ministries of Vietnam and Venezuela held their 7th political consultation at deputy ministerial level in Hanoi on September 18.
At the function, Vietnam’s Deputy Foreign Minister Pham Quang Vinh and his Venezuelan counterpart Ruben Dario Molina informed each other on the situation in their respective countries and discussed measures to further promote relations between the two countries and the two foreign ministries.

They reached a consensus on continuing to exchange visits and hold bilateral meetings while implementing commitments made by high-ranking leaders of the two countries and enhancing the effectiveness of bilateral trade and investment partnership along with joint projects in agriculture, national defence and science-technology.
The two sides agreed to maintain the regular activities of the inter-governmental committee and political consultation between the two foreign ministries, and to continue working to complete the legal framework for bilateral cooperation.
They were of the same mind about coordination to organize activities to mark the 30th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in 2019.
The two sides engaged in in-depth discussion on regional and international issues of mutual concern, and shared the view on settlement of disputes between nations by peaceful measures on the basis of international law./.
