VNHNO - Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh visited revolutionary contributors and students in the central province of Quang Nam on August 24, ahead of National Day (September 2) and the new school year.
She presented gift packages worth VND 2.5 million each to 50 outstanding revolution contributors, holders of the Hero of the People’s Armed Forces title, and war invalids.

Over the past few years, Quang Nam has always paid significant attention to ensuring the Party and State’s special treatment for revolutionary contributors, who number more than 330,000 in the province.
On the occasion, Vice President Thinh also granted scholarships worth over VND 2 million each to 100 disadvantaged students, who are children of local fisherman and military officers and soldiers performing duties off the coast of Quang Nam.
Earlier, the leader and her entourage offered incense at the provincial martyrs’ cemetery and the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Tam Ky city./.
