Propaganda posters contest held to celebrate 70 years of Hanoi’s Liberation Day

The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with the Department of Grassroots Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to organise an award ceremony and opening of the exhibition of the Contest on creating propaganda posters and logos to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) on August 10.

The contest has received the response of many professional and amateur artists and designers. Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Do Dinh Hong, said that this contest is the largest in scale, with the participation of 50 provinces, cities, agencies and units. The number of authors participating is also the largest, with more than 300 authors, sending 700 works to the Organising Committee.

The Organising Committee selected 26 outstanding works to award prizes. In addition, 45 high-quality works were also selected to be on display at the exhibition.

The exhibition is scheduled to run until the end of August 2024 at the Exhibition House, No.45 Trang Tien Street in Hanoi.
