Right after the Government issued Resolution No.02/NQ-CP on key tasks and solutions to improve the business climate and increase national competitiveness in 2024, the Ninh Binh provincial People's Committee issued Plan No.31/KD-UBND dated February 15, 2024 on the implementation of the Government's Resolution.
Under the motto of taking enterprise as the center and the success of enterprises being the success of the province, leaders of the provincial People's Committee have held monthly meetings with enterprises and cooperatives to listen their proposals and to have solutions to handle these difficulties and hindrances; and step up communication work on online public services to local people and businesses.
The province's Public Administrative Service Center has been invested synchronically and modernly. It has actively cooperated with provincial departments, units, and sectors to review new administrative procedures to instruct people and firms. The center has also paid attention to building its staff in a professional manner.
In addition, Ninh Binh has paid heed to investing in transport infrastructure that connect regions; building planning schemes for industrial clusters and zones; zoning off space for development and attracting more FDI projects; developing green economy for sustainable growth.
In the first six months of 2024, the provincial administrative procedure settling system received and handled over 191,000 files, including over 126,000 handled online, making up 66.1%.
In the January-July period, the provincial authorities granted certificates of investment to 15 projects and permitted 60 other projects to adjust their registered investment by 3.51 trillion VND, representing a 2.4-fold rise compared to the previous year.
A part from favourable factors relating to geology, nature, culture, human resources, natural resources and land area for industrial production, Ninh Binh has paid due attention to improving administrative procedures, increasing transparency of legal documents and improving the business climate. Therefore, in the past few years, Ninh Binh's economy has enjoyed rapid growth towards the direction of industrialization, modernization.
The province's image and prestige has been improved as well and Ninh Binh is regarded as a bright spot for attracting domestic and foreign investors in 2024.
