The programme connected two locations: the Kim Lien historical site, home of the late president in Nghe An province, and Ho Chi Minh Museum in the southern city.

In his speech from Ho Chi Minh City, Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan recalled President Ho Chi Minh’s words in his testament that the Party needs to educate young people so that they can become capable successors in order to build socialism.

In today’s deeper international integration, young people are expected to hold the responsibility of being the primary force in leading the country to overcome challenges to achieve sustainable growth.

Nhan stated that Ho Chi Minh City always creates conditions for youth cultivation and places confidence in the younger generation, who will try to do their utmost so as to make contributions to the city and country’s development.

According to Professor Hoang Chi Bao, the Party’s directives on following the example of President Ho Chi Minh and efforts to push back moral and political deterioration are the most practical implementation of his testament.

At the programme, the audience had a chance to meet Pham Minh Tuan, a musician known for his songs about the country and enjoy many songs about President Ho Chi Minh.
