Government Inspectorate delegation visits Japan

VNHNO - Government Inspector General Le Minh Khai on August 23 called for Japan’s support to Vietnam’s administrative reform, e-Government building, and personnel training.

He made the proposal during a working session with Japan’s Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Seiko Noda in Tokyo.

The official highlighted the friendship, mutual trust, respect, and mutually beneficial cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.

Khai said thanks to the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation signed in 2013 by Vietnam’s Government Inspectorate and the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the two sides have since exchanged many delegations.

The Government Inspectorate has greatly valued the Japanese side’s support in training 65 groups of officials since 2014, contributing to improving the efficiency of inspection, resident reception, and settlement of administrative petitions in Vietnam, Khai said.

The official expressed his hope that Vietnam and Japan will develop their extensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia along with their sincere friendship.

For her part, Seiko Noda noted the fruitful relations between the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate and the Japanese ministry, saying she hopes that the relationship will be maintained in times ahead.

Earlier, Khai and his delegation studied administrative consultation activities in Tokyo.

They are scheduled to visit Japan’s House of Councillors and Tochigi prefecture./.
