On January 21, 2022, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, has just issued Decision No: 205/QĐ-UBND approving the Plan, Tasks, and estimated costs to organize the competition for selection of architectural plans for the Cultures-Arts center of Dak Lak province.
According to the contest organizers, the form of the entrance exam is widely available both within the country and abroad. Participants in this contest can be domestic and foreign organizations. Specifically, the method of organizing the entrance exam follows: Conduct a review through 02 rounds. Preliminary examination board, select the best options for round 2 and notify selected units and individuals to complete the examination according to comments and suggestions from the Examination Board. Round 2: After completing the contest plan, selected units and individuals are able to defend the plan in front of the Examination Council and invited delegates. The selection committee evaluates, scores, and ranks awards. Accordingly, the competition plans are ranked, allowing the investors to choose the optimal plan, which meets the objectives of the contest.
The architectural design of the men building must be in harmony with the architecture of the area that is unique and impressive, both modern and bearing the local cultural identity, expanding the outer space, confidentiality levels of greenery, lawns, and items for outdoor community activities…
The design boundary is the land area planned for investment and construction and current provincial cultural center (address: No. 02, Hung Vuong, Tu An ward, Buon Ma Thuot city). The total land area is about 28,000 m2; with specific boundaries as follows: The East borders Dinh Tien Hoang street (30m planning). The West borders on the roundabout of the sixth intersection on Le Duan street
(30m planning). The South borders on Nguyen Cong Tru (18m planning). The North borders Hung Vuong street (20m planning). The proposed land area for the project belongs to the current provincial cultural center area with the following main items: House of Provincial Cultural Center (built in 2000) has been degraded several parts of the construction, some spaces are no longer suitable in the current operation process; Relic Management Center, advertisements construction have been relocated and dismantled; Children’s playground with degraded infrastructure; the residential area adjacent to Hung Vuong and Dinh Tien Hoang streets has been cleared, compensated and reschedule according to phase 1 of the project. Infrastructure; current status of roads: the planned land area for urban planning and embellishment belongs to the general plan of Buon Ma Thuot city, existing traffic with large roads which is convenient for access; water supply system: currently, the location of the planned land already installed the city's water supply pipeline system; still face water drainage system that runs along National Highway 14; power supply system each use from the existing low-voltage electricity system of Buon Ma Thuot along with Dinh Tien Hoang route, this power supply has been upgraded incapacity and quality to serve the entire area.

The architectural design of the main building must be in harmony with the architecture of the area, unique, and impressive architecture, both modern and bearing the local cultural identity, expanding the outer space, confidentiality levels of greenery, lawns, and items for outdoor community activities… Characteristic spaces, architectural highlights in positions with great views and space at major roads in the area. Taking advantage of the terrain, using materials suitable to trending green architecture, ecological architecture, and suitable architecture of the times. Exploiting, integrating and connecting indigenous cultural space with modern urban space. Organize pedestrian streets to promote economic development and tourism. Effectively and synchronously exploiting the current traffic routes, it is expected to expand the connection of modern urban transport urban routes for the future… The project’s name is Dak Lak Provincial Arts and Cultural Center, construction site is at 02 Hung Vuong, Tu An ward, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province. The investor is invested by the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Civil and Industrial works of Dak Lak province (abbreviated as Civil Project Management Board), which is the main investor. Funds are spent from the provincial budget.
