Can Tho Business Association celebrates Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day

On October 11, the Can Tho Business Association (CBA) organized a conference celebrating Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13). The event's purpose was to provide a platform for businesses to gather, exchange ideas, and share experiences to foster connections and collaboration for mutual development. Mr. Duong Tan Hien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee, was in attendance and delivered a speech at the conference.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hao, Chairman of the Can Tho Business Association, sincerely thanks Can Tho leaders for their continuous support of the business community. He also appreciated the attention and assistance of Can Tho municipal departments, sectors, and organizations for businesses. He acknowledged that these supports have provided favorable conditions for businesses to overcome challenges and thrive. Mr. Nguyen Van Hao also expressed confidence in CBA’s members, believing that they will continue to work hard, overcome obstacles, and contribute to the overall development of Can Tho City, which is in line with the trust placed in them by the city leaders.

According to Mr. Duong Tan Hien, the Party, and the State always pay attention to and highly appreciate the business community's role and consider them vital in promoting production and developing the national economy. Along with business people across the country, enterprises in Can Tho City have constantly promoted their strengths and enthusiasm, contributing to the development of Can Tho City and Vietnam. In the past year, CBA has actively supported the business community and grasped the thoughts and aspirations of its members to promptly reflect them to the city's leaders, departments, and sectors. At the same time, CBA also participates in building policies and economic development strategies and implementing programs to care for members in particular, contributing to cultural, artistic, and social security activities in general.

The ceremony announced the decision to appoint two vice chairpersons and one member of the executive committee of Can Tho Business Association for the 2022 - 2027 term.

On this occasion, Can Tho Leaders awarded the Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee to 14 groups and three individuals who are members of the CBA for their outstanding achievements and contributions to Can Tho City's development.
