By now, the whole province has 247 OCOP products, including 25 products recognized as 4-star and 222 products recognized as 3-star. The province has also conducted assessments and granted 4-star certification to 03 products re-evaluated in Van Chan district, including: Tan Tú Lệ sticky rice, Shan Thịnh Tao meo tea, Quoc Ky massage spray.
To fulfill the goal of recognizing 30 additional OCOP products in 2024, Yen Bai province will continue raising awareness of the purposes and meanings of the OCOP program, viewing OCOP as an socio-economic development task for each locality, a new momentum in new rural development to promote production, create conditions and incentives for producers to courageously invest and develop advantage products of each locality. Together with that, directing specialized agencies to guide localities to identify advantage, potential products and subjects to complete products and improve quality; strengthen opening training classes to enhance capacity for OCOP product producers and traders.
