A virtual fine art exhibition entitled “Path of Independence” is being held by the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum from August 29 as part of the activities marking the 76th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

Visitors can access the museum’s website at vnfarm.vn and via its fanpage at https://www.facebook.com/baotangmythuat/ to enjoy 18 artworks in various materials including oil painting, lacquer, silk, gouache and woodcarvings by 15 artists and groups of artists.
The exhibits recall the Vietnamese people’s journey to the success of the August Revolution and President Ho Chi Minh’s Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
The exhibition highlights historical events of the country during the 1930-1945 period and the fighting atmosphere of uprisings and revolutionary movements towards the National Day.
Notably, many artworks in the exhibition reflect the image of President Ho Chi Minh during important moments in Vietnam's revolutionary history.
From an artistic perspective, the exhibition contributes to affirming the results and significance of the August Revolution and the great dedication of President Ho Chi Minh as well as the meaningful lessons from the cause of national renewal and international integration to boost Vietnam in overcoming current challenges.
