On the afternoon of January 19, at the headquarters of Sao Mai Group, the handover ceremony of 5,300 gifts worth VND 2.650 billion and the sponsorship board for the Spring flower decoration worth VND12.088 billion for the leaders of An Giang Province, took place at the headquarters of Sao Mai Group. Mr. Le Thanh Thuan - General Director of Sao Mai Group continues to support Uncle Ton’s hometown to carry out social security works and organize events to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Buffalo.
Mr. Nguyen Tiec Hung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Province, Mr. Do Tan Kiet - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Mr. Tran Anh Thu - Province Members, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of An Giang Province and leaders of districts and towns in the Province – the localities benefiting from Sao Mai’s program, also attended the event.
We will be seeing us again, this year, Sao Mai spends a budget of over VND20 billion for the overall implementation of the program “Sao Mai celebrates Tet with the poor”. The event will go through many provinces in the South Vietnam to the Central provinces with more than 10,000 Spring gifts. Specifically, Sao Mai sponsors An Giang Province with 5,300 shares of gifts allocated to localities: Long Xuyen City, Districts of Thoai Son, Chau Thanh, Chau Phu, An Phu, Tinh Bien, Tri Ton, Tan Chau, The Blind Association, Nurturing Center for lonely elderly and orphans, An Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, An Giang Central General Hospital, Agent Orange Victims Association,…. . At the same time, Sao Mai has also spent over VND12 billion for decorating the Spring flower streets in urban districts and funding the fireworks display to welcome the Lunar New Year.
