Mu Cang Chai welcome tourists to New Year Festival 2025

Mu Cang Chai District in Yen Bai Province will host vibrant celebrations to welcome the new year of 2025. From December 27, 2024, to January 2, 2025, visitors can experience festivals featuring the traditional flutes of the Mong ethnic community and the blossoming of the local pink To Day flowers, among other exciting activities.

84 / 5.000 To Day flower is associated with the lives of many generations of Mong people in the highlands of Mu Cang Chai.

Located more than 300km northwest of Hanoi, Mu Cang Chai is a mountainous district nestled at the foot of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters above sea level.

A highlight for visitors is the Mu Cang Chai National Scenic Rice Terraces complex, spanning 330 hectares across the communes of Che Cu Nha, La Pan Tan, and De Su Phinh.

Recognized internationally, the American travel site Insider lists Mu Cang Chai among the world’s most beautiful mountain destinations, alongside Rainbow Mountain in Peru, the Andes in Bolivia, and Mount Fuji in Japan.
