On that basis, the province has proposed many solutions to focus on implementing and concretizing the instructions of the superiors, especially in promoting economic growth from the beginning of the year.
To successfully complete the set socio-economic development goals and tasks, especially promoting growth according to the plan, according to the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment - Truong Van Liep, in addition to proactively coordinating closely with departments, branches and localities to carry out assigned tasks, advising the Provincial People's Committee on measures and solutions, the Department also focuses on ensuring the disbursement of all capital plans assigned in the year.

In particular, the department continues to implement solutions to improve and maintain the top position in the country in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI); innovate investment promotion work in the direction of proactively approaching and supporting partners, large corporations, high technology, and leading value chain operations to attract investment in the province.
The work of receiving non-state budget investment must ensure compliance with the province's development orientation, types of planning and legal regulations; at the same time, ensuring flexibility in order not to miss opportunities to attract and receive investment projects. On the other hand, the Department of Planning and Investment also strengthens support, removes difficulties and obstacles to put investment projects that have a strong impact on socio-economic development into operation; etc.
Director of the Department of Industry and Trade - Huynh Van Quang Hung said: To promote the economic growth of the province, the Industry and Trade sector continues to promote the role of bridge, introducing, linking cooperation in production and consumption of agricultural products, focusing on developing the supply chain of clean and safe agricultural products, OCOP products, typical rural industrial products into modern distribution channels; organizing events to introduce the province's agricultural products.
At the same time, the sector monitors and urges to accelerate the progress of infrastructure investment, strives to put more industrial clusters into operation in 2025; promptly removes difficulties and obstacles for enterprises in industrial clusters, increases the occupancy rate; etc.
On the other hand, the sector builds the Project on Developing Product Brands of Long An Province; call for investment in developing trade infrastructure and logistics services, creating momentum for the development of civilized and modern forms of trade to meet economic development requirements; coordinate to support Long An International Port to operate effectively; continue to implement the Domestic Market Development Project associated with the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese goods" in 2025; innovate and improve the effectiveness of industrial and trade promotion and support businesses to penetrate new consumer markets, especially demanding markets, to diversify export markets.
Striving for a growth rate of 10-11%
As a locality located in the province's key industrial zone, in recent years, the socio-economic development of Duc Hoa district has accelerated strongly and made practical contributions to the overall development of the province.
In 2024 alone, the growth rate of the district's product value reached 8.88%, of which primary sector reached 0.62%, secondary sector reached 9.25%, and tertiary sector reached 6.2%. The district's economic structure continues to shift positively towards industrial - urban, trade - services and agriculture development.
In particular, in 2024, the district reached the state budget revenue milestone of more than 1,500 billion VND for the first time. This is the result of the entire political system in the area, the joint efforts of the people and businesses.
Chairman of Duc Hoa District People's Committee - Le Thanh Phong said: "In 2025, the district will continue to direct drastic measures and solutions to develop the economy in the right direction, contributing to the overall growth of the province. The district will focus on reviewing the resolution's targets for implementation; promoting investment, regional and urban linkages and expanding the transport infrastructure network to serve socio-economic development; attracting investors with clean and advanced technology; etc.
In particular, the district will focus on implementing well the directives, directions and budget management from higher levels; strengthen the Steering Committee to urge budget collection at the beginning of the year, develop specific and detailed roadmaps, time, and budget collection plans, direct relevant units to closely coordinate to ensure correct and sufficient collection, exploit revenue sources well, prevent losses; etc to continue to maintain state budget revenue of more than 1,500 billion VND in 2025".

According to the Provincial People's Committee, implementing the Prime Minister's direction on promoting economic growth in 2025 and striving for double-digit economic growth in 2025; maximally implementing the goals, targets, and tasks of the Provincial Party Committee's resolution, the Provincial People's Council's resolution on directions and tasks in 2025, the Action Program to implement the socio-economic development plan in 2025 and in the 2021-2025 period (especially the GRDP growth target) create a premise for high growth in the 2026-2030 period; etc.
